Thursday, a jury of six women were selected for the George Zimmerman trial. Five of the six women are white, one is Hispanic. Some critics are already zeroing in on the fact that the jury is rather homogenous, but is it really a factor?
Susan Constantine, a jury consultant who was in the courtroom throughout the Zimmerman jury selection, joined America Live today.

Constantine told Megyn Kelly that the larger jury poll was over 70 percent female, and there were very few African-Americans. “The entire pool was white females,” she said.
She explained that all of the jurors were middle class citizens, a characteristic typically sought by the defense.

Constantine cited one juror who is particularly strong and who she believes will likely anchor the jury. She’s a very articulate woman in her 70s who supervised over 1,700 people previously. “When she speaks, she speaks with authority,” Constantine said.
