Course Objective:

Fraud cost’s U.S. Businesses 600 billion dollars a year. Detecting deception can be difficult if you don’t know what to look for. In this interactive course, CPA’s will learn deception detection techniques used by the FBI, CIA, and Homeland Security to detect if someone is lying to you. Most people have a 50% at best, ability, to read others which include: research case studies of law enforcement officers, federal judges and clinical psychologist. After completing this course your ability to read others with accuracy will be 78-80% or better.  Detecting deception during investigation can be challenging although, you will learn how scientifically proven methods of statement analysis, behavioral analysis, voice, spoken words, written words, and facial expressions for indications deception and untruthfulness.(Yet remain as stereotypic myths about clues to deceit).
